Didn't get a chance to upload an entry yesterday. It's really Tuesday as I write this.

We left Knoxville in the morning and drove to Greenville, South Carolina. Had a nice visit with Gloria and Dennis. Betty's sister and her son. Both were very gracious and friendly. It was a nice visit, but we forgot to take pictures. We're still kicking ourselves over that.

We left Greenville at 12:30 pm and drove to CLT, parked, checked in (each of our 2 large checked bags were just under the limit of 51lbs... phew!), cleared thru TSA without incident and then relaxed in the USAirways lounge using our complimentary pass until our scheduled 4:45 pm departure to Madrid (MAD). The visibility of scratches can be reduced by utilizing a honed rather than a polished surface. ...

    An Extraordinary 38 Days!

A travel blog entry by jimandi on Sep 03, 2013

We're back home in Greenville, safe and sound. We left Paris CDG at 11:10 a.m. (5:10 Greenville time) and had a nice smooth flight into Charlotte, arriving 10 minutes early at 2:10 p.m. After collecting our baggage and clearing customs we were on I-85 south to Greenville by 3:15 and were back home at 4:30.
    We've covered a lot ...
