... the States it safe to say we've been back once or twice since!! Austin had a really cool, laid back feel to the place with a great music scene and some of the best BBQ joints anywhere. We visited the state capital building (tallest in the USA) and the famous bridge where millions of bats live. OK, so here the day is in a nutshell:

Before Bob could return the car this morning, he had to defrost the windows. The temperature dropped to about 30 last night. This morning as we were preparing to depart Lubbock, the temp was about 45. We left the campground about 9:45 and drove to the Flying J for gas and propane. Then we were on the road. San Angelo is about 200 miles south of Lubbock on US 87.
