First time in San Angelo

A travel blog entry by schroederd

San Angelo is a larger town than we knew. There are many oil wells along the way. We chose to take US 67 all the way home because it leads to Midlothian. Had discovered that 67 runs all the way from Presidio to northern Illinois almost to the Wisconsin border. We tried to get a campsite in the State Park ...

The Blue Bonnets are especially impressive and plentiful this year! But the variety of wildflowers are stunning. Even the cacti have started to bloom! I really enjoy the blessing of the flowers whether wild or not!
