Spent the day in Little Rock, Arkansas.
We rode our bikes as far around the Arkansas River Trail as far as we could, which turned out not to be very far. The temperature was around 92 and at least 300% humidity (: We did fine on the part that was down by the water but then it moved inward to the city proper and the added radiant heat from the concrete did us in. We had a quick breakfast at the Super 8 in Knoxville before getting on the road about 8:30 this morning. It was an easy drive this morning with only a little rain.
Stopped at Arby's for lunch and to gas up the rigs. A half mile down I-40 after lunch, the traffic came to a standstill. We wasted about an hour getting through the construction zone and on the road to Arkansas.
