Today Matteo & Caterina drove us to Milan for the day. We parked in the suburbs and caught the Metro in to the centre. The first stop was via Monte Napoleane where all of the big fashion houses have their flagship stores. They all have security inside the closed doors, and only allow people in if they are serious shoppers and can afford the exorbitant prices. Window shopping was all we could manage. The funny thing is that many of these hostels in Milan are run by Egyptians. And in ...

Many are original, which is quite stunning since they are from around the 15th century. Next on the tour was a visit to Sforza castle that dominates the layout of Milan. We just passed through, but it was neat to see something else that I would not have stopped to see on my own.
