      ... one. 'The Look' was all I got when I tried pigeon alert. We walked to the lake The Serpentine in the park. It had canoes, paddle boats and many swans, geese and ducks.       After a long but uneventful flight we arrived in London right on time at 9.30 am. We arrived at our apartment in Earl's Court and had a shower and headed straight out. The apartment is a converted terrace house and while not particularly flash meets all our needs and is in a really good position.

      ... of going to the top of the drawbridge tower and walking across for 9 pounds, eh why not. The first perk of being a student was discovered here, just by flashing my student card I got admission to the bridge as well as Monument, another attraction, back by saint Paul's for only 7 pounds! HOORAY!

      Terry and I went back out to Docklands again this morning, and successfully collected my credit card. The next problem is that I need to ring a 1300 number to activate it. Difficult with my mobile and no land line. Stay tuned. We went out by bus and back by train, using the Docklands Light Rail, then the Overground to Shoreditch.
