Well today we had a change of plans and decided to have a bit of a quiet one, did a bit of washing as we were running out of undies, had a late breakfast then decided to take a stroll to Notting Hill. I have absolutely fallen in love with the brisk weather and strolling, yes I know, Jenny, the laziest person I know loving walking the cold streets of London!!!! It's true though, I marvel at the old buildings, ...

It was amazing to see who was buried there and all the sculptures and memorials on display. I stood on the altar where William and Kate were married and where Diana's coffin lay during her funeral. We had a wonderful trip away and can't believe how many places we visited ...

... we sampled special cheeses from all over England.

Other stalls included smoothies, bakery, meat, antipasti, coffee, plus the stalls for a quick bite including a curry, wurst and burrito.

We were so full after all of our samples that fitting in a meal was a big ask, but we trooped through!

Full to the brim we headed home, safely knowing we didn't need to eat again till tomorrow.

... floor below and have a lot closer view of the artwork on the dome ceiling. It is so amazing, it makes everything look like its 3 dimensional. We continued climbing (another 120 steps) to the stone gallery which gives you a 360 degree view around London. I whimped out there but you can go one level higher!! We then climbed down, into the crypt where we were able to see many famous graves and epitaphs including Lord Horatio Nelson and the Duke of Wellington. ...
