    ... a swim, but I'm not a big swimmer anyway, and certainly not in icy water like that. Just because it's tradition, that if the sun is shining, you have a swim, so Haakon jumped in...and straight out again like a rubber-band, and then dipped the temperature which showed 15 on the surface, and I suspect more like 10-11 a metre deep.     Hey all!

    With the closing of the week comes the end of winter break here at the American College. I apologize for not having this entry yesterday as previously advertised, but after eight hours of train travel returning from Sweden, blogging was pretty far down on my priority list. Sorry 'bout that. I was much to tired to produce coherent thoughts anyhow.

    The train ride wasn't too bad. It's funny how close together things really are ...
