For those of you that don't know, today, after 7 months, I returned back to the
UK. After 40 hours travelling I am exhausted, but I don't think I will ever
forget the journey.. or the look on my mums face.

First new experience for the kids was a trip on the underground trains. The novelty wore off very quickly and they admitted it was nowhere near as exciting as they had anticipated. After a sleep in and luxuriously long shower, I took the bus from the hotel into Edinburgh central, and had a leisurely lunch at an Italian restaurant I had gone to several times when I was in Edinburgh last.
