      ... And I mean everybody. There was a full family of mum, dad and kid all dressed as cops – mum was in the kind of cop outfit you need to pay $200 per hour for, if you catch my drift. There were 45 year old Batmans, 50 year old Shreks and many other outfits. We also happened to see a couple of 65+ year old women in the Wonderwoman outfit – not the kind with the classy little dress at the bottom, but the kind that was a full-length cling-on-to-the-body type. ...

      ... time to kill, we went to the fancy Miami Beach side to go swimming (the waters were absolutely flat, so no surfing) and chilling in the sun.
      Back at the airport, there was no shower. Damn. That way, salt-crusted Thomas and I went on another sleepless flight to London, where we arrived again in the early morning. This time we didn’t have that much time, but we luckily found a shower (a very, very hot one) and some desperately needed breakfast. ...

      ... in a really pretty little restaurant strip called Espanola Way, seafood paella. Then wandered the Art Deco strip, amazing amount of beautiful Art Deco Hotels buzzing with life. Don't think I've mentioned before how cheap booze is in the bottle shops here. ( or convenience stores, or chemists, or even service stations ) Tonight we found 1.75 lt bottles, $22 for Smirnoff, $24 for Captain Morgan Spiced ...

      ... and many of the buildings are made of a rock called coral stone, which is made of fossilized brain coral, and you can see it every now and then along the paths and in the buildings. We had been riding around for a couple of house and it was so hot by this point so we all got an ice cream, and then rode along the boardwalk past some really nice resorts back to the bike shop.       ... t to pricey! Miami was a great little city, a break from the hustle and bustle of the other busy city's we have visited in America and one that has a little bit of everything in it. Would definitely like to return here some day to spend a few days and then cruise off to the Bahamas.. Another one for the bucket list when I'm rich.
