The new management is working as fast as they can to make this place perfect. I'm guessing by the time anyone reads this it will be.

brilliant hotel. They couldn't be more helpful. They organised whatever we wanted for no commission at sensible prices and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean (even after the torrential rain) and cool. The rooms were especially large and the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. The hotel is under 10 mins walk to the main market (Psaa Char) and 20 mins (less by the tuk-tuks positioned outside) to Pub Street. The advertised pool however, was less than inviting. The top floor restaurant was lovely- nice views, indian cuisine beautifully cooked.

High #1 Our group of fellow travellers, we bonded really well on first meeting and it was nice having different people to chat with and share experiences and further plans. By the end of the 8 days together we had "in" jokes and swapped contact info with promises to visit and keep in touch. Low #1 On arrival in Siem Reap, Cambodia we were given a 3 …

8:40AM wake up call after piking the early morning sunrise at Angkor Watt and being woken by Jenny after she returned. How rude!. Had breakfast with all the adventurers and it appeared the sunrise was excellent however the late arriving European tourists caused some anger after trying to cue jump and take our groups prime …

Everyone was very tired and ready for our bus to pick us up at 7 am. We all looked weary! We had our breakfast at the community centre and enjoyed washing at least our hands with running water and soap. We knew we had to wait until the afternoon for a shower so a few snoozes were had during our 3 hour bus trip to Siem Reap. …
