    ... the kids. We visited the longmen grottos and Shaolin temple which is famous for it's kung fu school. Ian became a kung fu master and won a competition on stage.

    In Zhengzhou we managed to find a western bar (an hour away from our hotel by taxi, but well worth the trek!) we even took part in a pub quiz! Very strange to be somewhere so Chinese and experience something so western.

    ... hours, which is longer than it took me to get from New York to China!! When we got to Qing Dao we were able to leave the station and get some McDonalds across the street.     ... Chinese staff was finally able to find a sneaker store down the road. And I desperately needed new shoes since my sneakers got a hole in the back and the plastic was rubbing the back of my foot. We took a quick taxi ride, which didn't even cost a dollar and I was able to find a nice pair of sneakers for a decent price. Lunch was once again in the cafeteria.     ... so I bent down to pet him and he came right over to me. He then refused to leave my side,following me out of one building then across the campus and all the way to the second building.
