Yesterday we packed up and left Granada to drive to Malaga. We took a detour to a town at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, driving through Lanjaron and Orgiva to get to Pampaneira. Pampaneira is a white town high up in the hills of the Sierra Nevada, the views of the mountains were amazing. ... Classic pieces of Picasso are on display, as well as ceramics and sketches. Located in the centre of the city and near the historic monuments, the museum is just a few minutes away from the Cervantes Theatre and is a part of an urban structure, the Casas de Campos. The streets here are lined with lush vegetation and flowers. It makes for a very lovely atmosphere. We chose to eat outdoors on a bustling street with fun accordian music filling the night. We are looking forward to some relaxation here with two full days to enjoy.

Imogen and I had also purchased a football (soccer) guernsey for the Barcelona team which we noted along the trip that he wanted. To source the correct size we had told him in Barcelona that I would be buying one for my brother who was a similar size to him ;).

All packed up i was feeling a mix of excitement and nostalgia, it would be strange to travel on without Ruben and Mette who I had been with for 3.5 weeks.
