... last km gave us a option to drop below the road and it was like walking in a fairy land world. Trees overhanging, soft ground with Roman road rocks hanging about, a stream running through with a small waterfall on the left and a gentle breeze to cool you down.

As we write our blogs this arvo we are sitting in the sun, but cold because a breeze is blowing. Looks good but not really warm.

Not a problem for me, I carry boiled eggs all the time, but for ...

... identical situation over the River Tajo. Awesome! But do check the pic - you have to climb a barrier no matter if your on the road or the goat track - there's a pedestrian way across the bridge button can't just walk on to it, you have to manage the crash barrier first.

Two options here.....continue up the bitumen (you're joking right?) or take a goat track that does have a marker for a trail (Camino Naturals del Tajo) that goes where we're going up ...

... to the Finca. This is the land where Marilyn and Pip's daughter lives with her husband, 3 horses, 3 dogs and 8 cats. Camping in a gazebo and caravan, growing vegies, riding, slowly getting the place into shape before modernising the barn/stables and adding living accommodation. We asked Clare's help, with her better Spanish, to try to contact a garage in Madrid, but still no ...
