      We have seen beautiful tiles everywhere, but especially in Portugal. Either decorating the edges of windows, as full wall covering or as panels, mostly religious or a story of some sort. We are amazed to find how old some of them are, several hundred years sometimes. Set off from our very wet camp site, as it had rained all night.       Breakfast was at 08.00. We needed an early start and we also knew that there were a couple of dozen Japanese in the hotel who had been told by their courier that they had to have breakfast at 8a.m. So, ready and prepared we were at the door of the dining room on the dot - as were they - but we won the war (again) and managed to get to the buffet first I.e.
