... because there are just SO many goat/sheep droppings! :) They are freely grazing on pastures in the area and obviously, it's easier for them to travel on this hiking path. We went about 80% of the way and decided to turn back. It's just very white with clouds everywhere and couldn't see anything. I also hit my shin rather ******* one of ...

... along the road. We were so lucky to snatch one of the last little spot - beauty of having a tiny car!

The tickets for funicular are rather expensive - round trip is about 21 Euros, but one way is 17 Euros - so we decided to do the one way up and hike down which apparently would take about an hour. Luckily we did small grocery shopping on our way (there is no store in ...

Headed for the Mountains for a look see and a hike. Wow this is quite a tourist area we discovered. Lots of little and big stone and wood structures of endless restaurants and places to sleep. Twisty, windy as we've been accustomed to and you round a bend and there is this stunning but not ancient church perched on top of small mountain, wow factor equals 10. Twisty ...

Hi ho out the door and chose a Path that again went through the mountains rather than the coast. Visited Oveido which is where we will pass through on the Camino primitivo. Just as treacherous as yesterday with excessively sharp bends.

Just stunned by the beauty of the countryside with waterfalls falling onto the road, stunning cool rainforests much like Tassie with ...
