People are always asking me when I
first trod the boards. “Alex” they say, “When did you first
become a complete show off?” the first time I realsied I like

So following WW2, 70 years of our forces being based in Germany will come to an end. It is quite strange and an odd quirk of history that it is also the centenary of the first great European exercise in collective slaughter. One can only hope that by 2114, we have learnt something.
