Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia 0156... will be particularly interested in’ she said, pointing out a large phallic shaped object. She went on to explain that the tiny creatures that build the structure are effectively trapped by their own construction, although their young are small enough to escape through the latticework. We’re still not sure why this should appeal significantly to Jen (or women in general) as it seems to show a couple forced to stay together and keep having ...
Kinka Beach, Queensland, Australia jenandtony... rough looking sites I was beginning to get a little despondent when turning onto the Bruce Highway yet again, I came across another Big 4 just south of Gladstone, luckily they had a pitch available, it’s school holidays for 2 weeks so many places are full. The site is very quiet with plenty of good grassy places to pitch the tent so I decided to stay here one more night in order to visit a nearby town called ‘1770’ supposedly a must do visit if you are in ...
Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia jatty... nothing in Rockhampton on Sunday is open. I don’t understand how such a big city can just shut down for the day. So we resigned ourselves to baked beans (or some other tinned food) for lunch/dinner and headed for Yeppoon. To our surprise, everything in Yeppoon was open. It’s not a big town but everything was open. So after arriving and setting up, we headed into town to get our supplies, spent the afternoon on the beach eating an icecream. Beautiful
Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia adwubby... holding our breath over the fuel.....
Our spot at Big4 was wonderful. It was opposite the local Catholic school, so we were able to run the kids raggard on the oval after dark. Then at night time we had the full rendition of 'Jesus Christ Superstar' from a great concert band and some wonderful vocalists. Even better, it was for free. Now ready for the next hall.
Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia minnieyork... look like you are on Mars! We kept going on the highway. What they called the highway is the beach at low tide all around the island!! You cannot go swimming there as the currents are so strong and some nasty animals live in the water. We were dropped on the beach, at Moon point for the ferry to pick us up. It was funny, it looked like a group of people lost on a deserted island..I think I have seen this somewhere....
Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia leprefrog... lot of places were shut with it being Sunday but we saw there was a bakery, convenience store, takeaway and other shops. We had a walk along the sea front and then stopped at a small takeaway place for some fish an chips. We both had it grilled rather than battered, I opted for a fish called Red Admiral and Sam had Barramundi. It was lovely eating a great big piece of fresh fish ...

Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia maudrenee... my journays to give brief summaries, but most of you I haven't talked to at all, and my apologies for that. Please keep the e-mails coming though. I can't promise to respond to them right away, but I will eventually. I'm also sending off photos to mum and dad to post up on the internet so I'll give yous the site when that's all finished up. So, where to begin, but the beginning... SYDNEY: Of course flying into Sydney, this was the first city I saw ...
Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia lkidner... calls itself the Beef Capital of Australia (a title it fights over with the town of Gympie some 470km further south) and numerous commemorative statues can be found in the city. The biggest bull of them all has become the most famous as it continually has its testicles stolen. No sooner do they get replaced then in the middle of the night someone’s out there castrating the statue with a saw and running off with a couple of balls.

Our first stop once ...
