    ... whisked from the airport! Well, not exactly whisked - heavy traffic and about a 45 minute trip to Park Grand Hyde Park. Finally arrived - what a shock in room sizes! Coming from the fancy Sofitel in Dubai to the quaint style accommodation in London ... what a laugh. Very small room, can hardly swing a cat hahaha oh well, we are here to experience it all.     We only had 90 minutes on the ground in Dubai, so we just wandered through the Duty-free shops to stretch our legs before re-boarding. Disappointingly, we didn't have window seats on the plane, and couldn't see out of the terminal while on the ground. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the famous buildings and housing developments, but it wasn't to be.     ... died as soon as we started taking photos of us in the desert, and my tablet photos arent however among the 200 or so people there it appeared the 3 female solo travellers there found each other so we took heaps of photos for each other and they will email them to me, so camel photos will come at some point. so tomorrow at the airpirt while waiting to to fky to rome I will be going in search of a spare camera battery.
