    ... Vijay put on his driver to take us up to Dubai Mall and a general wander around the huge shopping centre followed. Paul found a couple of new shirts in the process. Use was made of the Dubai Metro to get back to Mall of the Emirates (2 zones, one way - 8 Dirham each).

    A short drink in the hotel bar before heading off to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen where we had our favourite Thai Crunch dinner - a very fresh salad type meal that is very filling ...

    ... I must have heard at least 8 different languages in my little trip to the mall. D DAWG then put on the BEST tour guide mask and showed me all the important sites and we even went for a walk on the beach. NO swimming occurred as the water was Cape Town freezing. Cleared customs without any issue and proceeded to the exit where we arranged a larger than normal cab as we are now five people and 11 bags plus carry on....it is amazing how much we travel with...things will have to change big time, next time!!!!!
