Many of the groups were from mainland China. We were told that they are not accustomed to museum behavior. The warnings were obviously true, and although we saw signs that asked people to keep their voices low, it seemed that many people ignored the requests.

... to buy K a knitted hat but at 10 bucks, I couldn't do it, despite its cuteness. There are lots of cute electronic dodads, USB plugs for cell phones, even iPhones. Nothing too inventive.

Oh the strangest food was this one called "Fried milk". It looked like bits of curd, (or cheese) on a stick waiting to be deep fried.

Lastly, they had a Chinese New Year stall, which had a whole bunch of cutesy red ...
