Had a great 18 hour flight because I slept most of the way. Tony slept 3 hours but I got a solid 11. Arrived at 5.30am in the morning to 35 deg c., Been to the pool to cool off and had a wine. Experience is a fine thing, ensured we got a hotel that serves alcohol which is not easy in a Muslim country. Starting to relax and get in holiday mode. Off to London tomorrow xx

He took us to an amazing beach bar with a lot of people and we had a great time!

Today was our day off so of course we slept a little longer than the rest of the ...

... 8220;massiveness” of the hotel; with over 1500 staff, 1608 rooms, 15 receptions desks, 14 restaurants and a complete floor dedicated to executives – this was out of my comprehension. We ended our tour with a high-tea which was probably the best I have tried so far, the chefs always mentioned exactly what ingredients were put into preparing the meal which made it so much ...

... Turkey we exchanged contact details and said or farewells. We went ashore and got the shuttle bus to the Wafi Mall, seeing many extraordinary buildings, lovely beds of petunias and grass, freeways, overpasses, etc. The Wafi Mall has an Egyptian theme so we've seen pyramids and hieroglyphics so can cut them off the bucket list. we achieved our first objective: a visit to Marks and Spencer's for knickers for Susan and Pjs for me to replace ...
