Today we took the S-Bahn to the University and I showed her where I go to class and where my institute is. Then we took the scenic walk back to the Altstadt, through the parks and along the river. We got supplies for the feast and headed back to Weststadt to help out. Surprisingly everything turned out ok. We played basketball and football before everything was finished ...

We headed to the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof to get tickets back to Braunshweig. We stopped in Hannover for 1 hour and we quickly walked through some of the shopping section. We were tired when we finally arrived so we hung out in my room for a while just relaxing. We hung out with all of the URI students in Weststadt and it was a lot of fun.

There was going to be part of a German tv show filmed in the main area in front of the Schloss. The show is called "Wetten, dass?" and it basically is a betting game where someone comes on the show and they bet that they can complete some sort of ridiculous task. If they do, the contestants from each bet get the chance to win something, this time it was an Audi. I went to get coffee in the Schloss with Wendy then we shopped around for some costumes. Wendy was a Berliner Kindl kid which was so cute!! I was Mutti (a mom) apron, wooden spoon and bandaids. It was a beautiful day outside so Wendy and I decided to take a walk in the Nature conservatory area on the edge of the city. It took a long time to get there (40 minutes) but we walked around for about 2 hours and saw some beautiful landscape. It was nice to get away from the city and enjoy the Fall colors.

... there was a short breakfast and then Wendy and I went to go pick up our Visa's. We are now officially allowed to be in Germany for 1 year! We hung around Friday night and baked wurst in onions, cauliflower and peppers and also made mashed potatoes, it was amazing!!

... got to eat free currywurst in the cafeteria which was really good. Then we were able to explore on our own if we wanted and then head back to Braunschweig. That night we also had another party for the completion of our summer classes. We had to make our own food again, so I made barbeque chicken, and everyone else made really good food. The place where it was located is tricky to get to but it was fun.

... to earth we wandered over to the design centre within the Volkswagen GroupForum + Piazza pavilion, we had been round quickly with Anna on the guided tour but wanted to spend more time on the exhibits and look at a new "green floor" which opened this morning.

At 11:00 our itinerary had us down for the Maritime Panorama Boat Tour on the canal on the banks of which the site sits. We sailed for half an hour and it was only in the last 5 minutes that we cleared the VW ...

... 4AM). It gave Candy so many ideas, that she said she wished we weren't married so that we could incorporate them in our ceremony. As you read below, you can probably guess that Ray was thinking, "boy I'm glad we're already married.". Seriously, we both enjoyed the day very much. It's a wedding we'll never forget.
