... horrific ones too. There is an English theatre, it's closed at the moment but outside is a cupboard with novels in and on it a sign saying that they are free to take. This past weekend we ventured into Frankfurt for a nice lunch, and to see the botanical garden in Frankfurt before it got too cold or wintery. See pictures attached. ... Paris! Anyway back to the castle. The view from the tower was terrific! The valley to my left, the river to my right. And there were tunnels (glad I had a flashlight in my pack) that were damp and super creepy. Tried to imagine what it must have been like in the Middle Ages. Probably lots of rats down there carrying plague. Eep! Checked out the dungeon and the slaughterhouse. Again, can't even imagine. ...
Wednesday we caught up with Aunte Hilde and Kevin sat very quietly while Melitta tried her German out.
Thursday (today) we are browsing the shops in the Wiesbaden Mall with Melitta fussing over all the dog's being walked in the streets.
Look forward to meeting the rest of Melitta's family in the next few days before we fly to Barcelona.
