... guard, to access the gift shop! Mission accomplished!

Experienced serious scarf envy. Every female had a scarf which complimented their jacket, boots and bag (further envy). Amazing. A serious number of males also wore scarves, tied just so. And whats more, their scarves never seemed to need readjusting. Mine always move, regardless of what I do and how they're tied.

Catalan as a language is indecipherable. All signage is now in both catalan and spanish.

Today is for relaxing. Up at 8 to go to breakfast. I decided to have sweet and savoury again. Still limited to only one plate though, I thought that was best.

Tonight is a formal night, so relaxing all day until I need to start getting ready. More deck time, then we discovered a nice bar on deck 14 with fabulous views of the ship and surrounding sea.

We did a lot of relaxing poolside ...

... not fulfilled, but it was still enjoyable! We came to Barcelona in the night and went to the hostel to drop off our stuff. Then we started walking around the city and ended up laying at a bridge in the harbor looking at the stars.

... coast. The sights were absolutely stunning. If the shore line wasn't crystal blue with white sandy beaches, then it was these beautiful cliffs. And believe me that when I say cliffs it does not do it any justice. These were beautiful beige cliff sides that were some times layered with different colours. Exciting news!!! Yesterday Carlo and I (with Bea's help) booked our train ticket and our hostel for our trip to Madrid!!! We will be leaving for Madrid on August 16th and staying there until aug 19th. From there we are taking the train from Madrid to Taragona.
