The weather turned on us today, cold and the odd shower. Decided there was more to do in Barcelona so booked a couple of extra nights here (sorry San Sebastián). We had the hotel book and print our tickets for Sagrada Famila tomorrow, very helpful. Breakfast at the market after having a good look around. As part of LLUM BCN there were supposed to be 300 lights on the fašade of the building but most of them had been extinguished by the wind and we were sceptical about the number. We think there were 66 on what we would describe as the fašade with fewer on the southern end of the building (we agreed that a building should only have one fašade, but we could be wrong) and presumably similar numbers on the other two sides of the rectangle. ...

OMG, this place was totally the thing for me. Lots of recreations of old architecture all in one little place. I felt like a kid in a candy store! I walked through every single street. I dislike the modern art in areas of the old stuff. There was this really sorry garden of scultures, they were like minimalist pieces. Ick! I really had a blast walking around the streets.
