    ... to stop in it. In the provinces there is still poverty but not to the level or extent in the city here. In the provinces families and children who are homeless or in poverty walk along the street singing and hope for a tip (they don't ask foreigners, only other locals). They are literally 'singing for the supper'. I watch these kids and wonder what kind of people they will turn out to be and what experiences they will have over the next few years.     The 23 hour ferry from Manila to Cebu was a great experience and we were pleasantly surprised at the comfort and treatment we received. We had a Stateroom looking out over the bow, what a view and a huge room with separate bathroom, lounge area, tv and very comfortable beds.     ... the captain decides. Finally the ticket seller came to us and told us the captain would be bringing the ferry into the dock that was "broken". Leo was in his element watching the trucks, cars and vans get loaded onto the ferry that we couldn't go on.     ... End-up? sa food court kami kumain (wala na kasi kaming magawa- gutom narin!).
