... too dangerous at this stage so we book the small river trip for 6pm the next day. There are plenty of people around, some on segways ( I am soooo keen to do this but the blokes think they will look dorky!), many on bikes and a few large groups following flags. Its a lovely warm day relaxed feeling and people are enjoying themsleves. We noticed in Vilnius that there was no hard sell just pleasant polite people most spoke English making it easier for us. ... during the last 10 days.

I kept thinking of where I have to go and what I have to do; I don’t have to look far, I’m centrally located. The logical thing to do was visit the Cathedral.

It is now 4 to a room and looks ...

... his Game of Thrones fantasies by sneaking in a cheeky 6 shots on a crossbow in one of the deserted courtyards, taking out a duck, a meerkat and the red bit on the bullseye. In your face, King Joffrey!

We cycled back up the pretty main street of Trakai to get back to the hotel, checked out and caught the local train to our new hotel in Vilnius, the Raddison Blu hotel. Luxury. A far cry from the "Best Hostel" in Riga.
