... So we had a good laugh. Unfortunately 2 hours and a rather large card tower later we still hadn't been picked up. Naturally we decided we had been scammed and would never return. However we were picked up about 5:45 and made our hour long commute to Kwantu Game Reserve. It's pitch black but seems awwweesssome. ... good! Although it has been a while since I have slept in a bunk bed - I couldn't remember if bagging top bunk was better or not? Anyway, that's what I got. Our dorm was situated right next to 'Predator Camp'...I walked to have a shower and it is the most surreal thing to hear lions roaring as your background noise as opposed to the A31 at home. Incredible. And the stars. Wow. These cannot be the same stars as at home.

... It lays out lessons, Core Team (Youth Leader) recruitment videos and resources, and other material on how to plan liturgy. However, even though full of helpful guides, it was still a lot of new material. I spent a good few days just trying to understand how the program worked and how to use the material.

After speaking the first Sunday, I decided that the best thing I could do for the next two weeks was to just observe how things were being ran.

... has been like a sister to me for the last 11 years. I won’t be seeing her in person for a very very long time after tomorrow. It’s strange but it’s life. I only wish her, Mark and Benjamin the best in their new life in an awesome place.
