    ... such a long night/day, I just wasn't in the mood to sit for tea. After checking out some of the sites (see the pictures) including the 300 year old pine tree, I noticed that the Tokyo Cruise Line had a stop there and went right by where my hostel was. So I hoped on, enjoying views on the Sumida River, until I got of at my stop at Ryogoku, walked to my hostel and took a well needed nap. dinner

    ... experience, but be prepared to pay a good price for not much food that's quality is equivalent to school lunches and a seating fee. And if you want any extras (like a game or photo) that also costs more money. Tips: Google where you're going so you are finding the right experience for you, do not touch the maids in any way (even if they are passing you your coffee and you want to take it to help her), only take photos of your food NOTHING else, and don't be a creep. haha.

    ... it is the most ridiculous gaudy chrome and mirror covered room with huge gold sea shells for chairs and at the front is a band with a relatively normal looking singer with a backing group of the Cylons and Metal Mickey's love children.  Everyone is walking round taking videos and photos and there is a video of some Amazon women warriors playing on the huge video walls.  It's like the vision on the future in a sixties TV show, designed by Liberace and Julian Clarey, it ...

    ... metro to Ueno Park. It is a huge and truly pretty green spot, where you can walk, enjoy the nature and visit the Buddhist Bentendo Temple, the ShintoToshogu Shrine, the Zoo, and a giant square surrounded by several museums.

    ... chairs or beds, and even stay the night! Awesome little places to unwind, or get some work done. I'm sad I only discovered them on my last day here!

    And what's not to like about all that, really?!

    I am certain I will be coming back to visit Japan again, if only to satiate my newly acquired powder addiction (skiing, not drugs). I have had a fabulous time, and have some very fond memories.
