... there and we had three dive masters so Elaine and I had a private guide called Nas. He was a native who knew all the names of the fish and sea life. It was interesting to find out that one of the divers goes to the same university as Phillipe. He just graduated from Ohio State University. This was one of the most incredible places that we have scuba dived at. It also goes down as one of our most memorable moments of our year long trip.

I put my head under water to look and was completely taken back, directly below me was about 30 large bumpy head parrot fish! I told Emma to hurry up and ...

... staff, including one extremely camp but hilarious Malaysian DiveMaster called Nasi Gorang (which actually means fire rice!?). We arrived at Mabul and it really was a tiny dot of an island made up of just 6 dive resorts (one built on stilts in the ocean) and a army/police barracks, this was strictly a scuba island. We got off at scuba junkies own jetty where they took all our bags off for us and we was then greeted by even more super ...
