... story later... The day before Christmas Eve was a busy one, as many people were in the city of Frankfurt (including us) to do some last minute shopping. I took this opportunity to check out Frankfurt's Jewish Museum. One thing I found interesting when we parked in one of the city's parking lots was the different types of parking that was available. In the U.S., we have regular and handicap parking at most places, but in Frankfurt, I saw two other types of parking spots, clearly ...

My over-worried but caring Mom of course had thought something had happened to me since she had not heard from me since the previous day and also ...

... bus to see where it goes. It was a good trip until a young guy threw his voice all over the floor of the bus. We decided to de-bus and wait for the next one - a 20 min wait. We rode the bus to the point where it turns to head back downtown. The bus-driver had a 20 minute break at this point. So it was off the bus again until we re-boarded at 9:11.

By the time we got back it was past 9:30 so we called it a night.

... friends from other parts of the world. I flew to Prague to see this beautiful post-cold war city and one of Eurpope's oldest jewish communities that doesn't exist anymore. I said Kaddish. I saw an old friend, and made new friends whom I look forward to seeing again soon. Then to bring it all to a close, I traveled to Germany and was the guest of a wonderful new friend who helped me see not just modern Germany, but also how ...
