... at the top of the wall has a "cannon" that doesn't shoot regular bullets or cannon balls. It shoots out an artificial substance that marks the targets with a poopy smell that takes 4 days to get rid of. He offered us each the "opportunity" to experience it for ourselves, if we wanted, and said that there were lots of rocks around that we could throw at the guards.
We next went to the "Banksy" graffiti wall. This is exactly what it sounds like- Banksy painted ...

Natalka insisted on packing us snacks whenever we went out, so we were armed with fresh fruit and delicious home baked muffins for our last day in town. We ran errands, then bought flowers, magnum bars (necessary for any Mexican meal), every vegetable in the store, and even found tortillas! We definitely over-bought, but ended up with ...
... the largest city in Israel, situated right on the sea. It is a very eclectic place, with a wonderful mix of people. Along the sea, there is the main road, Hayarkon St, which runs all the way from north TA, south right into old Jaffa. Running along side this, is a pedestrian promenade, The Tayelet, that follows the beach the same distance. They also provide a bike land the same length. Very people friendly. Most of the big, high priced hotels are ...
... of juxtaposition, it occurred to me that on this very European-looking beach my hand was lazily fanning through hippopotamus drool, albeit homeopathically diluted at the end of its 3,000 mile journey from Uganda.
As the warmth of the setting sun dried the hippo drool on our hands, we strolled south toward Jaffa. Yafo, as it’s locally called, is over 4,000 years old. It’s mentioned in several places in the bible. For example, Jaffa is ...

Walking to the plane, I asked him if it was always this intense for foreigners, and he chuckled. He explained that it was because my story did not really add up, and what I was doing was not considered a common adventure, especially since I have no family ...

Historical Traveler Reviews City Hotel Tel Aviv - an Atlas Hotel
Clean, Inexpensive and central
A good value for an inexpensive stay in Tel Aviv. The property is centrally located to the shops and restaurants of the Dizengoff area, and only a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but they are clean and I did not have a problem with street noise. The breakfast buffet was very good and the dinners were excellent. I would reccomend this hotel for someone looking for an inexpensive option in Tel Aviv..... It's not the ritz, but it's a good option for a room in an overpriced city like Tel Aviv.
Pulito, economico e centrale
Me encanta Tel Aviv.
Loved this hotel
i stayed at the city hotel last august,
i enjoyed very much.
the room was nice (with lcd)
the breakfast was good the staff is very friendly.
i love tel aviv
VERY NICE ONE
We stayed at the City Hotel for 5 days, very comfortable rooms , they provide wi-fi free of charge, the breakfast is very fresh and tasty.
i recommend war those who look for great location and friendly staff and good value for money.
Very nice hotel
very nice hotel, great location
very good breakfast
nice room (i had sea view)
the staff is friendly
When we booked this hotel they said they had on site parking for their guest, not true, they rent it out to non guest during the day. We had to pay for offsite
parking next door. The room was small and had a strong perfume odor that was not pleasent. I had the distinct feeling that they did not clean so well, the carpet was stained. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful when enquiring about places to eat that were kosher. the buffet breakfast was quite adequate and provided you with a good start to the day. The hotel has two small elevators that are very slow and limited capacity for three people, If you suffer from claustophobia don't use the elevator. Lobby is small with uncomfortable old worn leather chairs they could use new ones. not a place to relax.
Pretty good place
I think this hotel is good for those who are not planning to spend alot of time in the room.
The rooms are small but if you only sleeping there who cares. Its clean, it did had a weired smell but I opend the window and going forward cleaning person left open window every day so it wasn't to bad at all.
The breakfast offered a few choices and was pretty good, free internet in the lobby and excellent location to all restaraunts and promenade
If you can get at about $80 a night take it, I would not pay more then that
The staff was ok
For all US travlers, in my personal opnion we are little spoiled by large rooms and certain level of service, please don't forget its a foreign country and standards are much lower then what we have here
Small rooms, smelled weird!
Stayed at the City Hotel in November for a couple days...It seemed the place was OBSESSED with sterilizing everything & it had a VERY strong cleanser smell everywhere. The place wasn't necessarily clean, but it smelled like it was. At times my nostrils hurt due to the chemical cleaner smells.
The staff was nice enough, the breakfast buffet was tasty and the location is great! However,I would NOT stay here again due to the toxic smell & very small rooms.
