    ... had made reservations at 7 pm at a restaurant at the New Otani Hotel. We were to meet her sister-in-law, Reiko Hayashi there. We had quite an adventure getting to our destination.     I departed from Chicago around 12:40pm on Saturday (US time) and I arrived in Tokyo at 3:10pm on Sunday (Japanese time). When it was 3:10pm here it was about 2:00am on Sunday where you guys are. Japan is 14 hours ahead of East coast time. So no matter what time it is in PA just add 14 hours and that's the time here! That is why I am actually a day ahead of you.

    They also use the 24 hour clock so right now it is 17:13pm ...

    ... we asked for help people did their best to help. The people alone quickly made Japan jump to the top of list of places to return.

    All good things come to an end - that's what makes them special.
    Thanks for following our adventures; hopefully you enjoyed reading the blog almost as much as we enjoyed collecting experiences to share. Now it's time to go back to work and start saving for the next adventure. Ideas are welcome!
