... bliss; a huge downhill stretch with no pedalling for ages. It was soooo good! There was a rose garden not far off the main track so we went there. Dave and Ben got their girlie on and we all were amazed by the range and colour of all the roses. It was a lovely garden and they were all in bloom. ... could see what was happening. Then we went to the tasting area. There were lots to try and it was a help yourself deal so help ourselves we did! The next one we visited, Fukubijin, was like a small shop and had no tasting (boooooo!) but we bought a small bottle from here. ... never seen a temple but it looked much more beautiful than I thought. Finally, we journeyed down the steep steps and went to the middle of the town where there was a river and more shops. ... toilets with no doors. After drinking copious amounts of ginger tea James almost used one when no one was around - but luckily realised at the last minute that they were some sort of beauty treatment, filled with tea that could be lit from below.
