... and make do. We found an old Soviet Hotel which looked for all the world as though it had featured in the Ipcress File. The Receptionist was clearly KGB, the lift had seen many an assassination attempt, and spookily all the radiators were on full even though it was 25 degrees outside. ... were very grateful when we realised the restaurant on site actual closed at 9pm. Being 8.15pm we quickly ordered. Once 9.15pm came we realised why it closed so early. As if someone had turned on a switch the whole restaurant became infested with Mosquitoes. All you could see were people waving the arms and legs, followed by the occasional slapping sound. ... Prior to leaving the site we ate as planned in the onsite restaurant. Michael had a Hungarian dish with duck, Harvey and Billy pasta carbonara and Jake and I pizza with two rounds of 0.5lt cold drinks all for less than £25. ... and the hunger wasn't satisfied!

The path continued slightly inland so we only got the occasional glimpse of two lake. We crossed paths with two young and very fit Slovakian ladies a few times. The first when we had both taken a wrong turn - actually, we missed a turn that went over the rail line and we ended up on a gravel track. Second time was when one was on the bike path and the other on the road was stopped at roadworks.
