Boxing Day we awoke and went to a small local cafe for dinner. This was quite entertaining as Dad ordered sausages and there was a large mix up with the waitress and he got in trouble from Mum. Quite entertaining, all over a mix up in the translation between English and German :) From there we headed into the centre of the city and found a beautiful local church where Mass was finishing. Then it was off to a local coffee house recommended on the list that came with the ...

If I lived in a city with a palace I would probably choose a palace to go running at, because let's be honest it just sounds cool. First we came upon the Palais Ephrussi, the historical Viennese home of the family featured in the book I am currently reading, called "The Hare with the Amber Eyes". Very impressive little home. Now it has a 'Casino' sign on it. Then, we walked past Mozart Haus, which is now a museum. However he lived there for ...

    And I will celebrate
I will celebrate the Wright brothers for their ingenuity and courage and perseverance which have me wings to fly.
    Up there
If you look up you might catch a glimpse of me flying over a foreign country!

... fruit juice, you could actually taste all the apple. We also ordered a very strange hotdog. We continued our day with a tour through the palace, and then through the maze gardens which surround it.The three of us took a subway back into town and got an early dinner at a Vienna style coffee house.

We parted with Caroline around 7:30, which gave Scott and I exactly 38 minutes before sunset to get to the Vienna Ferris wheel, Riesenrad, ...
