Switchbacks to Santiago
... border crossing time will be. JESUS! Anyway – so we are here. The bus terminal is right near the Universidad de Santiago metro station which bizarrely at 10pm is HEAVING with people. We are in a queue to buy a ticket there are just people everywhere! We don’t have to change train lines to get to our hostel (BLISS) and we are there by about 10:45pm.

Continuamos
Conintuing my little walk around town that I started yesterday, I took the metro to Santa Lucia and carried on walking down to Los Heroes, taking in some of the architectural sights and looking round some more colourful and interesting markets on the way. I then made my way up to the Plaza del Armas, where I tried the local "enchilada pino". It was ok I guess. Bit bland. Bit stale tasting.
