... view and not very busy. Unfortunately we are short on time due to our boat not leaving on time so we have to quickly grab lunch and head back to our boat, which leaves straight away this time and there are no jellyfish. We return to see Nick and Alison accidentally greeting us on the beach and share our days discoveries with them. We then go and have a refreshing dip in the pool and a chill out. A small Thai restaurant was the choice for dinner. The food was tasty but ...

Goodbye Bangkok it's been short lived but a fun experience! Hello Ao Nang Villa Resort, Krabi. You pronounce the area Ow-Nang apparently. Journey here was nice and easy, especially with On around speaking the lingo! So this is the life, the scenery is amazing, we're going to enjoy this I think. We have more or less figured out where we are going to surprise Stef, tee hee, it's going ...

We have some street food in town before getting a minivan to Krabi on the mainland via ferry's, and we arrive at our ...

... said activities - shame really, they sounded really good!! We had said we wanted the cheap room (£10 a night) but as they didn't have any other guests, they upgraded us to the more expensive room for free. The guesthouse is located off the road in the middle of a rubber tree plantation with wildlife all around- it was quite special. We hired a motorbike for the week and as agreed earlier, headed over to EFT to meet and have a drink with ...

So this was my first Christmas away from any kind of family. Just Lauren and I. And I must say, it has been quite different. We woke up late and went for breakfast then came back to our bungalow to read and chill. The weather looked like it would be a bit better today. We skyped the family and wished everyone merry merries. Thank goodness for technology today. The sun showed itself nicely ...
