... laying on your back and gave you enough of a support to read a book if laying on your belly. Might bring a slightly modified design back to Canada and make a fortune! Teehee. With tons of street food stalls and fresh fruit shake stands within paces of the beach one really didn't have to go far. Tan, swim, flip, eat, tan, sip, repeat! At night time the beach chairs were put away and transformed into dance floor platform areas and fire show territory. The guys and I would put ...

... As for me, I get about halfway down when I realise that I'm in far, far over my head. Not wanting to be "that farang" who ends up in hospital because they didn't know their limits, I abort the mission. ... from the crew. Truly incredible to peer out the window at the dilapidated shacks along the tracks. It's hard to believe humans can survive in those conditions, yet every so often there would be a satellite dish propped on top of a corrugated tin roof that was dipping down into the gully. Wild. We are so fortunate! Chaing Mai is simply a smaller version of Bangkok. I really thought it would be more lush and rural. We stayed inside the ...

To celebrate missing thanksgiving we went on a sunset snorkeling trip. We went way out in the ocean to various rock formations and caves which teemed with all kinds of coral, fish, anemone and urchins. So amazing. We landed on tup island for the sunset and a sea gypsy dinner. We ate fresh seafood, chicken, rice, cabbage salad, all prepared right there onthe beach on a small grill. It was really, really good. Nobody else was on ...
