... side of the car. So of course, the door to get on the bus was on the 'wrong' side.

I was pretty lucky - I happened to notice my hostel (Pak Up Hostel) from the bus as we drove past it in Krabi town. The bus dropped us off about a few minutes walk directly down the road from the hostel, which was easy enough to walk back towards. Did I mention it was hot though? The weather bug on my phone says it felt like 97 earlier ...

... Paige told her. The fighters after went round in the crowd along with the fire guys and said hello to everyone, shaking their hands and speaking to them which we thought was nice. Suddenly there was an announcement by the Dj! "First girls to make it onto the dancefloor get a free drinks bucket!". We were straight there, bashing and pushing past people on the way, we didn't care, we wanted free booze! We didn't end up being the first girls but we made sure ...

Anyway...the rest of the day was, thankfully, penis free and was mainly spent snorkelling with the tropical fish and visiting some of Thailand's famously beautiful beaches. Feeling that our experience of Thailand so far had been too tame, we headed to the party island of Koh Phi Phi! Imagine somewhere ...

... was so lush! We found a spot to sunbathe, near a tree for shade, but the shade left us pretty quickly. After a couple of hours, we went and got some food, and learnt how expensive Railay was (not by English standards but certainly by Thai standards)! Alex had a pancake and fruit shake, and I had a chicken wrap and fruit shake, it was really tasty. We then went back to the beach and tried for some more shade but the sun was moving so ...

    Krabi gateway to the islands.

Krabi Guest House, well we paid good money for a ride and very basic room. Very clean, no basin or flushing toilet and of course cold water, but the owner a delight. Negotiate a good price for the second night. Krabi on the banks of the estuary has a stunning gateway of rock islands, khasts. Quite non touristy and has a good night market on the weekends ( blast we are here on a weekend), there is also a top class jazz festival so things looking good. The night market ...
