... have two elephant's on the front of it!

This may be followed up with a beer back at our bungalow, then we would go to sleep, wake up the next morning and repeat. Groundhog Day!

It was like a mini holiday. A holiday within a holiday.

Ko Lanta is a very relaxed place, at least the bit we were based in, and it's contagious. The people are very friendly. The cleaning ladies can be quite loud, talking to each other across bungalows, ...

On our first night on the the island we went up there and one of the guys had been fishing and caught a King Mackerel so they put it on the grill and shared it out with the guests who where up there free of charge. It was the nicest mackerel iv ever tasted too!

The manger said: "that is our cheese burger here miss. It is chicken. We do not serve beef here." I said: "well this is not what he ordered. You cannot advertise something on ...

... some sort of fish food into the water to bring all the fish nearby. That was a site! They were all on top of the water going crazy for the fish food. I'm pretty sure that's not environmentally friendly (see my post on Shark Cage Diving in South Africa and how they DON'T feed the sharks) but maybe it doesn't really matter because it was little two inch fish and there are hundreds of thousands of them in the Andaman Sea.

We boarded our 6am boat to Surat tarni with high hopes of a quick and easy journey to Krabi. To my dismay, This was not going to be the case. Sea sick within half and hour on travelling.. The boat was so rocky you couldn't even stand still straight, while holding on to the rails provided. This was a 3 hour boat ride and I was ready to get off and never get on a boat again. James had to practically hold me in my seat to ...
