... We went into Dortmond the next day and walked around looking for a park, which we eventually found. I enjoyed the walking around, exploring the city. At one point, where the streets looked just classical European, it really hit me once again that I am actually in Europe, and the streets we just so cool, and I was just so excited, that I just simply didn't have the words to describe how I felt. ... and a real sense of calm. Then we had such a good lunch at a quaint restaurant called Kartoffelkueche. Inside were old signs representing products from back in the day, old architecture and terrific food!!! Still cold in the morning, so we dressed for the weather, grabbed breakfast at Risharts (yummy), loaded up the car, and headed back to Frankfurt.
