We decided to have a meal in Weilburg but it took forever to find. ... any. Gottingen is another lovely old town area and also a University town. Hundreds of bicycles parked outside the University. Not sure how anyone finds their own. After leaving Gottingen we drove to a small Castle and walked around the grounds there. A very pretty area, with lovely gardens. Too early to go into the castle. Nothing opens until 10am. Then on down to the river where we catch a tour boat to traverse some of the river for and hour, travelling down to the harbour area, a lock and local rowing club sheds before returning back up the river to the terminus. With our stocks of diesel, alcohol, food and baby clothes for recycling replenished, we were ready for the penultimate lap.
