Great location near the city center. Rosenheimer platz S-bahn underground station located right in front of hotel. Take a lobby elevator down to the station level. Two stops and you are at Marienplatz and the heart of Munich. Very very convenient.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, outstanding breakfast. Excellent in every way except for the internet. Will never understand why internet is not included with the rooms, paying extra for internet is like paying extra for a Tv. It is a basic requirement now. Would have been 5 stars easily.

Rooms. Very nice, furnishings excellent, everything in working order. Large comfortable rooms and bathroom. Peter Roth toiletries is a nice touch.

          Breakfast. No. 1 so far.

Location. Again very good. Its walking distance to the shopping and restaurant area. By walking, it took us a leisurely 1/2 hour from the arches. I think there was also a metro station.

This hotel has all the amenities of an American hotel, a little expensive, but worth the splurge because it is right beside the metro. You couldn't ask for a better location.

Made our way to the train station for the 9.47 train to Munich via Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Too easy : Platform 3, compartment 12, seats 83/84.......upstairs that wasn't in our plans ! We did book 1st class but were unaware that all 1st class was upstairs. We managed our cases up the narrow stairs. (no way we were leaving them unattended downstairs …

Well, all of the flight changes came off smoothly with very little time to spare. Arrived in Munich just before noon and slid through boarder control easily. The officer in my line was yelling at several people ahead of me but, I couldn't exactly hear what it was about. I was getting a little nervous so whenI got to the window I smiled and said …

Word, ya'll! It's my birthday and I'm in Munich! So far the day has been great and I'm really excited for this evening too. Karen and I woke up this morning and headed down for the hostels (not free, but very cheap) breakfast. It was the best breakfast we've had here so far! Lots of meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, tomatoes, cereal...just a really good selection of stuff.

We then walked over to the main square Marienplatz to meet up with a ...

The first afternoon, we figured we'd take the train to the city center and find some food. While we succeeded in finding the ritzy shopping district, there wasn't a döner stand to be found! We hardly found any in Munich. Who would've thought?! In Stuttgart, it's the Seattle version of a coffee house, two on every ...
