    ... the best option and headed back to Domus Maria and Roger, John and I set off to explore the long winding main street. All around us, no traffic, were beautifully preserved old 18th Century buildings, most with hotels and souvenir shops in the bottoms, and plenty of choice for meals.     The 9 hour bus journey past in a blur as I managed to sleep the whole way! In fact when the stewardess woke me up (embarrassing!) I thought we'd only been on the road for about 2 or 3 hours! We pulled into the chilly bus stop at about 7 and found our way to the hostel fairly easily. We felt like we'd one the hostel lottery when the guy at check in said our beds were already ready so at just gone 7am we finally went to bed!
