      Compadres y Compeneros;

      It is about a 20 minute walk from my place in San Miguel

      ... Tacos Don Felix; we had been looking forward to this place. The story behind this restaurant is that the owner had such a popular taco stand that he opened a restaurant in Centro. Then, after some time, he moved the restaurant to his house; now his family works for him. We took Ted and Eli to meet Arnold and Kim Slote and Moni.. what great company! We laughed as both Arnold and Ted have similar dry senses of humor. It was a great night. Eli and I had a rough next day..

      It is Saturday. I took the kids to La Cocina for breakfast this morning; they enjoyed the hotcakes, bagels and eggs. We then toured around the artisan market. We bought gifts for the kids' friends, some colorful pillow coverings, oil cloth bags, and small painted art. We then went to Juarez Park this afternoon followed by guacamole and cokes at Hotel Matilda. That's a good day!
