      ... a zombie, Thomas was a skeleton and Caroline stuck with her Pink Lady costume. Of course, the morning dance was colorful and the students danced to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" in the courtyard to start the day. The site of all the dancing students in costume was so fun. Ruben, the dance teacher, is so energetic.. all the parents present enjoyed the exuberance!

      Katie, Caroline and I had a more quiet and leisurely morning. We lunched at Cafe Monet and then dropped Katie off at the Academia. She was a sous-chef volunteer (with other 14 students) for the Rancho Toyan organic meal at school tonight.       ... hummingbird feeders, etc. So fun! We picked out some new turquoise glass margarita pitchers and glasses.. and a few gifts. It was so inexpensive, less than $2 a glass! We peeked into the the factory; it was buzzing with workers everywhere and open fire pits ablaze.

      For lunch, Greg and I ate at Luna de Queso, my new favorite sandwich place. I left for a meeting at school with the principal regarding the arts committee.

      Francisca babysat. It was fun to get out for the night and show Andrew and Beth the vibrant nightlife. We walked to the Rosewood Luna Tapas Bar... great roof top view of the city.       ... in the restaurant and the rest were primarily Americans. The pasta is an acquired taste, I guess. We ordered some Bruschette and some tomatoes/ Mozzarella which were well seasoned and tasty. For the entrees we ordered Lasagna and Pasta Bolognese. The entrees were very delicious and we took some home for another meal.
