      ... I was visiting in Germany, came to pick me up once I had arrived at the Frankfurt airport. I was SO excited to see her! Pretty sure I hugged her twice haha. That afternoon/night we went to a hockey game: Frankfurt vs. Dresden. The place was packed! There were ~5600 people there to watch the game, and every time Frankfurt scored (they won 4-2) all the fans would take off their scarfs, swing them around and sing - it was great. ...

      ... get a Christmas ornament from every country we visit. So far so good… but there was an amazing little shop that sold only wooden toys/ornaments and there was a shop that sold hand made lace things. From €5 bookmarks to €1000 table clothes.
