Melbourne, Victoria, Australia joandcraigArrived at Melbourne Airport about 7.30 am after an overnighter from Hong Kong. Customs was hilarious...... Not only do they xray your hand luggage they also xray your suitcases. Not looking for bombs like the UK but any sorts of fruits, seeds, food items etc. All the Chinese that were on our flight had brought in such things and were having all kinds of stuff taken off them...... First impressions of Australia are good. The sun is shining, the sky bus from the airport is waiting for us and t...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia robnsarahozR- Return to Melbourne 20th December 2006 Up early to leave the hostel in Adelaide, caught a cab to the airport as we were running late for once. Again, we checked in in under 2 minutes and settled down with another nice coffee in the airport. Adelaide airport has only been open for 8 months and is nice and shiny and new. OH...F*CK!! DAYS 8, 9 and 10:
My pledge didn't work well at all, as I spent a long time on the internet in the Library during these days, and was in need of company by nightfall. When you're in a bar, that's all it takes!
I am concerned to note that the previous three days were all a little mingled together in memory...
DAY 8 (and somewhere in here, days 9 and 10):
I went for a little more exploration today ...
... now I'm writing this while LJ checks out the latest gossip in the UK in the only reliable source the Sun newspaper before bed. As fingers crossed getting up at 4am to watch the Wales game won't be a waste of time and I'll be able to witness the first victory in some 50 years over the All Blacks. Fingers Crossed.

PS Glad your still enjoying the blogs Don & Julie, I think you should sell up and go exploring as well don't worry Mum and Dad will look after Katie the Cat.

... it was late in the day we were advised to stay at the campground at Dunkeld and wait until morning to enter the Grampians National Park. The ladies in the Dunkeld visitor information Centre also said there were no facilities in the southern part of the Grampians because fire had destroyed them in 2006. . March 20, 2009. The "day of the sheep" - It was a beautiful sunny morning as we headed out for Hall's Gap in the Grampians. Along the road, which had very little traffic ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia mljholton... in Melbourne staying with my friends. The only really noteworthy things that happened this week were that one of the teachers was more of a pain in the ass than the students. He was asking all sorts of really in depth questions about the case, and trying to show off in front of the kids to look smart, but all it really proved was that he failed to understand that it was a made up case, designed for high school students to solve, so duh, some of the evidence ...
