... Romania is not part of the Schengen Zone and so the border with Hungary is more substantial. We even have to show our passports.

The hotel is pretty close to the train station, but the neighborhood is extremely sketchy. There is a corner where kids wait and approach asking for money. They look about 5-7 years old.
Checking in was pretty straight forward. Air conditioning cost extra, so we plan to just sleep without sheets.

... check out the Botanical gardens and do a Dungeon escape activity, but both were cash only. I tried to get as good of a look at the gardens from outside of the fence, and then decided to head back.
The dungeon escape activity required a reservation. The activity is basically to (try to) escape a dungeon for an hour after being locked in. They blocked the afternoon’s reservations and the only ones that were available were later in the evening. ...
Day 6: Today we continued on our travels and we crossed the border yet again and today we are going to Romania and we are going to Cluj-Napoca. ... inside as it was closed last night on the tour. After we caught a taxi out to Rovi and Cata's dental clinic to check out their amazing facilities. We were both treated to a clean and a couple of fillings. Then home for a home cooked lunch, which was amazing! Rovi took us and bono to the salina turda salt mines. Words or pictures cannot describe how amazing the mine is, salt build up everywhere, the size of the open space is unbelievable! Really truly somewhere you ...
