We zijn eindelijk in NZ.

In eerste instantie dienden we onze huurwagen af te halen.

De GPS was wel gemakkelijk voor het vinden van het hotel. Deze was geen overbodige luxe gezien de jetlag in de kraag, het gewoon worden aan het links rijden en de kronkelende straten van Auckland :-)

Iedereen was vrij moe van de reis. …

I spent the month of November on a tour of New Zealand - North and South islands. Highlights: - A 'heli-hike' on the Fox glacier. We were taken up on to the glacier by helicopter then spent a couple of hours exploring the ice features - tunnels, crevasses etc. Awesome! - Snowy mountain walks in the Tongariro and Mount Cook national parks - Arriving …

As the plane touched down, the excitement of arriving in a new country began to well up inside me.

The sun was out, but it wasn't too hot when stepped out of the airport lugging my backpacks. I caught a bus to City Centre, where I booked my first night at YHA Hostel. I got off at the first stop and needed to find Queen & Liverpool …
