Rhodes (Rhodos) is situated between the Black Sea and Egypt and is one of the most popular destinations in the Greek Isles apparently. Rhodes is perhaps most famous for one of the Seven Wonders of the World - The Colossus ...
We safely navigated the trains from Rome airport to the port of Civitavecchia then boarded this fantastic brand new giant ship the Equinox. My descriptions would not do it justice so check out the Net. Our first port was Athens and it was teeming rain so, having visited the major sites before, we only went into the Plaka or marketplace and did a bit of shopping then went back to the ship to travel to our next port Rhodes.

I was really overdue my holidays, finally getting to take it in October and I just signed up to two weeks of not doing much in Turkey with a couple of friends in a group. For me though not doing much isn't my cup of tea so I took every chance to re-live my old Turkey memories, from food, sights, sea, dancing and ahem, yes the men, again :)
Please come back soon as I update all the stories from the two weeks. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I was still trying to fish out my wallet so I could buy some real estate from Niki, so I had to pass; a shame because the loonie was trading at par that day. Our final port of call was the island of Patmos, a short run of 50 miles or so south west of Kusadasi. The main attraction in ...
Rhodes, Greece andy_n... We were not going anywere." Jeg søkte blant mine venner på Facebook for råd mot fylleangst. Anja Hammerø hadde løsningen. Super meds fra apoteket. Ett ord, Kodein, det hjelper. Det var hennes råd. Problemet var at vi ikke var i stand til å ferdes noen sted. Det var først klokken 1500 vi tok mot til oss og ruslet ned til La Tasca. Der unnet vi oss en spagetti bolognese hver. Det var godt. Så gikk ...

Naples, Rhodes, Greece ameehan... in descending order on the boards displaying exchange rates. The Americans walked holding video cameras, seeing the ancient city pass them by on the three inch LCD screen and bumping into each other. They could watch their entire vacation on television when they got back - and see what they had missed. I was caught up within a group of them in an enclosure between two city walls as a car tried to squeeze through. It was like being in a tunnel with a group of blind people as they ...
