... It drizzled rain right through this 6km long gorge but the sky was clear when we exited the northern end! PM - Had lunch here in Skalni Mlyn, a scungy hot dog with mustard, not a good choice! A bit about these caves; the Punkva caves are an extension of the longest cave system in the Czech Republic whose corridors are over 30km long! You can also take a 1/2 kilometre long boat ride through one cave. ...

We stopped in Laa for an ice cream and a Gatorade, it ...

      Cool and cloudy 20C

We set off early this morning for the Moravian Karst to visit the Pynkva Cave and Macocha Abyss. We had reserved tickets for the tour at 10am and needed to arrive 40 mins early to pick up the tickets. We caught a train from Brno at 8.30 then a bus from Blansko to the ticket office. When we arrived there seemed to be a problem that they called ...

... and where they are and what they are doing. At Auschwitz the images came into my head of death, malnourished people, disease, and more terrible things. All this was before we even got to the true death part of the camp where there where the gas chambers and crematoriums. Here there was a memorial because it was where all the ashes of the millions of people killed were. I really can not explain the feeling of this because in front of me later ...
