Today is workers day a holiday in South Africa to represent the working class. Workers day is equivalent to our labor day except workers day started because of the labor strike for shorter work days that got out of hand in Chicago. Strange that it's a holiday for them yet we don’t recognize the event that happened in our own back yard.
