... a panda. They are so soft, so cute, and so cuddly. Just be careful and ensure he is pre-occupied. The trainers are close by just in case.

Once you are finished your experience, you are escorted out of the secure room where you are given a bag of thank you gifts - shirt, DVD, pin, a photo frame of 2 photos they took of you and the panda, and a certificate acknowledging and thanking you for the donation and help to the research efforts.

Chengdu, well the city at least, as not as modern as Shanghai, but doesn't look (historically) as old as Beijing. When I called my mom later and tried to describe it, she equated it to Savannah, GA back in the states, which, on its face, is not ...

... a main street that was marked on out map as running next to the museum. Walking along it, we finally found a side entrance to the museum. By this time it was mid-afternoon and we were really hungry, but all there was nearby was a small snack stand selling sweets. So we bought ice creams and sat on the stairs of the museum eating ice cream and the cookies that we’d brought with us.

We spend about an hour looking around the museum. I want to go back when I have more ...
