... rain or shine. We walked up all 414 steps through a teeny tiny stairwell (you had to stop and turn sidewise to let oncoming people past). The upside to the rain...there was no lineup and the stone stairwell with teeny tiny windows didn't get too hot. ... According to my mom’s “book” – which I swear is synonymous with the average person’s bible – there are 460 steps leading up to the top of the Duomo, and 414 to the top of the bell tower. Then we wandered back to the hotel after looking at the Ferrari shop and had a rest before heading out for dinner. We ate ...

... on his creation. This stylist was incredible and like a cowboy of hairdressers. Spinning his comb and stabbing at the hair with art and flare was just incredible to watch. The amazing thing was that Jermaine got exactly, and I mean EXACTLY what he asked for. Feeling lighter from the amount of hair removed and thrilled with the results, we made tracks toward a gelateria which we had heard about that used organic ingredients. We discovered the place, named Grom, located not far from ...

This morning we went to meet Michelangelo's original 'David' in the Academy Museum. Then walk on to the multi-colored marble Cathedral, Belltower and Baptistery, adorned by Ghilbert's "Gates of Paradise". The open-air gallery of Renaissance masterpieces in Signoria Square, the political heart of the city. Round off our walking tour at the tomb of Michelangelo in Santa ...
