Stayed over in Charlotte last night. It was our first experience with AirBNB and it went well. Jonathan and his partner were very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. On the other hand our flight experience was not nearly as good. USAir/American Airlines really screwed the pooch. They were asking for volunteers to give up seats and we decided ...

After lunch, we went to Natural Arch via a sky lift. There was a 600 m walk to the arch and it was spectacular.

It was decorated with lights and seating and was very pleasant. There was live entertainment on the top deck and he played some of the same songs we had heard at the theater the night before. We got back to the hotel at 10:30 and needed have bags out and b3e at breakfast at 7:00, leaving at 8:00.

... at 6:30 AM. We had an easy trip to the airport with normal, but not heavy traffic. We got checked in fairly quickly. I took the time to read and rest while waiting for our flight. It was fairly quiet in the airport.

Our flight was on a 767, so we had the option of our choice of movies, TV shows or radio to listen to. I watched “12 Years a Slave” a movie based on a true story. It was edited for general audiences, but ...
