The first breakfast we sat with a couple who said they lived in Florida and then when we said we were from Buffalo the husband said he was raise in Williamsville. Through discussion, he is very good friends with Barb Falice a friend of ours and Jeff's 3rd grade teacher. It is amazing how small the world seems when you meet people who you have connections with here in France.

Finally they let us board, we were first on and told we couldn't sit in the bulkhead seats for safety reasons. So second row it was. Beckett fussed through the whole ...

... area we went into the tractor part of the factory, here they make Massey Ferguson, Challenger wheel tractors, Isiki (only the big ones) and in return they make old same Massey Fergusons for India, Africa and other countries. They are currently making 80 tractors a day and last month were making 90 a day. Each tractor is made to order and the central assembly line has many smaller lines coming on to it like the engine line, cab line and many more. The computer controls ...

... myself sitting with a Columbian student, who primarily speaks Spanish and knows a limited amount of English, for nearly an hour. What were we doing for nearly an hour? Good question - learning how to speak and write Russian. It was in that moment that I realized while our differences in language can prove to be a barrier, it is possible to overcome that barrier with effort.
