    Spent an hour on the front balcony just enjoying the view and watching the birds flying over the ravine opposite. A few cups of tea and some toast later we thought best to at least make an effort and get showered and dressed...its hard sometimes!     What a night....rained steadily for at least 6 hours and awoke Saturday morning to overcast grey skies with rain still in the air. An easy decision to make was to not take a drive to Guzelyurt, the weather is forecasted to be rainy all day so staying close home. As if to encourage the rain Sarah presses on hanging out the washing, will see if it does dry during the day. Breakfast done and listening to BBC R4 and the Today ...

    ... the sun was out and we managed breakfast on the balcony before again tackling a few jobs. All done by lunchtime so it was off to town to get the internet fired up, deposit money in the bank, collect house insurance documents and yes visit a few more shops for those bits that seemed to elude us yesterday. Called in at Mardos ice cream parlour.....very very difficult to drive by!, Sat outside till 7pm watching the goats wander across the hills opposite, reading and catching up ...
