    Sun 19th July - Up, showered, town, church and harbour front by 11:30am. Today and tomorrow are big celebration days here in North Cyprus so we thought we would spend the day soaking up the atmosphere. Sat at our usual harbour spot, iced coffee for John and coffee for Sarah and out came the papers for a read and some people watching.     ... changed, load up the jeep and off to Larnaca airport. Crossed via Beyarmudu crossing point and thro Pile village to the airport. Said our goodbyes to Kayleigh and headed home this time via Lefkosia and the Metehan crossing point. We are getting to know this journey well. Back home to get a message from Kays that her flight had been delayed an hour...she wont be happy. Suggested she got a glass of wine and it would help her sleep on the flight.     ... the restauarnt for supper. Tonights menu choice was calamari to start followed byba very nice fish curry, accompanied by a glass of very cold beer. Very enjoyable just sat there for a couple of hours, paper to hand as things cooled down. By the time I got home it was time for a a bit of tv, so Top Gear it was tonight with a nice G & T and so rounded off another day. Off to bed as I intend to be up a little earlier to finish the big clean up!

    ... Kims flight to Vietnam was progressing, they were over Burma and on the last couple of hours of the trip out. By 8:30am we were heading into Girne. First stop was good old Mr Pound to pick up shower gell and another water pistol to keep the wildlife from stalking us each evening.
