Late afternoon and all pooled out we strolled home, Sarah to prepare supper and John to trim a few bushesin the garden. Looks very tidy now. Inspected salad crop and more cucumbers are ready for picking. Jobs done, showered and changed and sat on patio listening to R2 ...

Setting off again we headed downhill now towards the central plain on a rough old road passing thro very real turkish villages of Kozan, Alemdag and Akcicek....then winding our way round to Camlibel. We started heading home to Girne but then as we got back to the coast we headed west again along an old road that straddled the was a ...

... supermarket to our house so we avoid! Today was also the second round in the elections for president and we have not really noticed at all, local papers are saying that turnout for first round a week ago was poor and there is a lot of apathy towards politicians out here.....hmmm sounds familiar. But someone has to get elected and its out with the old as Mr Eroglu has lost and Mr Akinci is voted in. Thats todays excitement and on that note we retired to bed and a good book.
